Story of the Gallery

In one of the most suggestive, exclusive and artistic area of Venice, few steps from the baroque church of Santa Maria della Salute, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the Center of Contemporary Art “Punta della Dogana”, is located San Gregorio Art Gallery, on Calle San Gregorio 164, 165, from which it takes the name.

The Gallery established in 1996 and distinguished itself for the promotion of high quality artists in the field of "informal" contemporary art. At first, the exhibitions showed the passion for the 'abstract' expression with artists such as Santomaso, Vedova, the "Venetian Spacial Movement" with Gaspari, Gasparini, Ennio Finzi, Bacci e Morandis.

Along with the Fine Art Collection above, the Gallery developed an Art For Interiors & Projects. In this section, the Artists exhibit a figuration embracing the taste of the 'general public' and the artworks are made to enrich and decorate the interiors. Many artworks have been made on commission for various private homes around the world, with pleasure and satisfaction reported by the clients. Even the sculptural profile is carried out by the San Gregorio Art Gallery with passion and interest.

She earned a Degree in Science of Education at the University of Studies of Turin, Italy; a Master in “Yoga Studies: Body and Meditation in the Asian traditions”, at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice; a Master in Psychology of Aging, at the University of Padua.
